PRECISION ALUMINUM ANODIZING LARGE SCALE TO SMALL DETAIL
Northern Indiana Anodize (NIA) is an ISO 9001-certified anodizing company based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, serving manufacturers, fabricators, and architects across the Midwest. Two dedicated anodizing lines mean we handle everything from intricate machined components to architectural extrusions up to 27.5 feet long — without compromising quality or turnaround.
NIA is ISO 9001 certified. Every part is tested for coating thickness, gloss, seal, and color consistency before it ships.
No job is too big or too small. Our Large Line and Small Line run 24/7, giving you the flexibility of two purpose-built systems under one roof.

LONG-LENGTH & ARCHITECTURAL WORK
Our primary line accommodates parts up to 27.5 feet — extrusions, railings, curtain wall components, and architectural panels anodized in a single run for consistent color end to end. Processes: Sulfuric Anodize Type II (Class 1 & 2), Type III (Class 1 & 2), and 2-Step Electrolytic Anodize.
PRECISION &
TIGHT-TOLERANCE WORK
For machined components and parts that demand dimensional control, our second line handles the detail work. Tank size: 48” x 42” x 65”. Processes: Sulfuric Anodize Type II (Class 1 & 2), Type III (Class 1 & 2), and PTFE.
CLEAR
BLACK
BRONZE
NIA specializes in the finishes architects and manufacturers ask for most: clear, black, and bronze. Need something outside these three? We also offer custom color matching to meet specific project or brand requirements.
BUILT FOR ARCHITECTS & SPECIFIERS
NIA understands the standards architectural anodizing has to meet. Our Architectural line supports AAMA 611-compliant finishes and can help projects pursuing LEED credits, with the long-length capacity to anodize extrusions, curtain wall components, and panels in a single run.
A RESPONSIBLE FINISH
Anodizing is one of the most environmentally responsible metal finishing processes available — it uses no heavy metals or VOC-emitting coatings, and it extends the usable life of aluminum, reducing replacement and waste over a building’s or product’s lifetime.
